001 Mixed Use Development Amsterdam

Amsterdam Amplificatum proposes an urban and architectural scale vision for the development and revitalisation of the Papaverdriehoek area. The project reflects critically on important questions about how we live and work in an increasingly digitised world that hasbroken down traditional distinctions between the home and the workplace. The proposal seeks to amplify the (material/ physical) potential of the site and intensify local economic networks through the provision of a loose-fit, layered architectural and infrastructural framework, in and around which local communities can live, work, produce and flourish.
